Vantage Point Solutions, a growing and dynamic broadband consulting and engineering firm, is seeking a qualified individual to join our team of Cyber Security professionals. We have an immediate opening for a Cyber Security Manager at our headquarters in Mitchell, SD.  

Summary/Objective 

We are seeking a dedicated leader to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The Cyber Security Manager will be supporting a team collectively working to safeguard our client's information, data, and systems. This role will work closely with other teams and departments to develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.  This person will also ensure compliance and nurture a culture of cyber security awareness to Vantage Point clients.  

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute a robust information security programs and services aligned with industry best practices. 
  • Assess and prioritize security risks and formulate effective risk management strategies. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into business processes and applications. 
  • Regularly review and update security documentation to reflect changes in the threat landscape. 
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any security-related legal and regulatory requirements. 
  • Conduct post-incident analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. 
  • Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate clients on information security standard processes. 
  • Establish and maintain a robust vendor risk management program.
  • Provide periodic reports outlining the status of information security to leadership and Customers, incorporating Key Performance Indicators for a comprehensive assessment. 
  • Communicate effectively with collaborators, addressing security concerns and providing guidance on standard methodologies. 
  • Assist in security-related documentation (RFPs, PPTs, etc.) 
  • Present cyber security related topics at regional and national level trade shows

Education 

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, cyber operations, information technology or a related field. 
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. 

Skills 

  • 7-10 years of demonstrated ability in information security, with confirmed experience in a leadership or management role.  
  • Comfortable with relevant data protection laws, regulations, and industry standards. 
  • Solid understanding of modern technology infrastructure necessary to drive secure development patterns and practices, and experience with modern cloud-based technology stacks. 
  • Experience with software such as Nessus, Kali, Metasploit
